the idea is that they add a year to the calender every year(which is why every year your birthday is a day forward), so the Mayans calendar for 12/12/12 is actually a different date then our modern calendars. The date isn't actually 13/13/13 in the movie it's the year and 13 days we've added to the calendar. - @Thursday, October 3, 2013 5:17 PM

yes, it is a documentary about the 13. proctember, which only happens every thousand years, and everyone becomes a zombie; it happend last year and it was really hard, but i managed to kill almost a dozen! i think the history channel has some footage, just go ahead and google it! - @Tuesday, October 1, 2013 12:29 PM
