Genres & Description

Comedy Romance

5.7 / 10

Centers around the lives of Victoria, Zenobia , Clevon, and Phil -- all friends approaching the age of 35 and struggling to build the families they've always dreamed of. While Zenobia (Parker, "Soul Food," "Brown Sugar") is still looking for a man, Victoria (Jones, "Castle," "One on One") is married to a man who doesn't want children. Clevon (comic Hart, "Not Easily Broken," "40 Year-Old Virgin"), meanwhile, is too geeky to get a woman, and Phil (Keith Robinson, "Dreamgirls") is already married with children, but his wife is not very interested in being a mother. All four of them try to rectify their romantic lives and futures while their biological clocks tick away.

35 And Ticking movie is good. I like the actors Nicole Parker, Tamala Jones, Kevin Hart, Keith Robinson, Darius McCrary, Meagan Good, Wendy Robinson, Mike Epps, Clifton Powell, Mari Morrow and Dondre Whitfield. Tamala and Keith did another movie called Act Of Faith. I saw that last weekend. That's a good movie. Kevin and Meagan did 2 movies called Think Like A Man 1 and 2. Mike and Wendy did another movie called Something New with Sanaa Lathan, Simon Baker, Donald Faison, Taraji Henson, Golden Brooks and Blair Underwood. Mike and Clifton did another movie called Next Friday with rap music legend Ice Cube. I love Clifton's character Pinky in Next Friday LOL. - @Tuesday, April 10, 2018 5:24 PM

I don't understand the movie industry? But this movie was EXCELLANT, by today's standards..Why did it go straight to DVD? (if it did). Was it ever in theatres??? I live in Ohio and by the say - Russ Parr should have protected the distribution of the movie better - it's already on bootlegg..sad... - @Sunday, August 21, 2011 7:16 AM

@AngryAtTechnology75 I never said that you said "ALL black movies suck". I responded to your comment that said 98% suck. You say 98% of the movies suck, then you say "You responded like I said ALL of them suck...but I just said 98% of them suck." HOW RETARDED DOES THAT SOUND? Like I'm supposed to adjust my comment based on your 2% scope. On one half, you're basically saying ALL the black movies suck, but then when I call you out, first you say "No, just the recent ones," then "No,98%" FAIL. - @Friday, August 12, 2011 8:05 PM

@AngryAtTechnology75 And give the black woman her damn props for penning the Matrix. Fuck all that bureacracy BULLSHIT because you sound like a damn TOOL when you try and JUSTIFY them "STEALING" her material and changing it around.. Give that woman her props! - @Monday, August 1, 2011 6:58 PM

Kung Blao
@AngryAtTechnology75 I can agree with you on that 100%...however before you jump out the window and say that "Black films are stupid NINETY-EIGHT PERCENT of the time", you might wanna clarify yourself a little better like how you just did because those movies do not represent 98% of black movies. Those are youthful movies. You forget about the older, mature blacks who enjoy good movies. I suggest you do some research on MK-ULTRA to get a better idea of why the movies today look the way they do. - @Monday, August 1, 2011 6:55 PM

@AngryAtTechnology75 So when the James Bond movies come out , yes it is true that Ian Fleming didnt actually WRITE the movies, but he WROTE THE BOOK. So how ignorant would I sound by saying "Ian Fleming didn't write James Bond"? No he actually didn't write the MOVIE, but he wrote the BOOK. But ACTUALLY, he didn't even write the damn book. He stole the avatar of James Bond from JOHN DEE 007. But he still gets his credit for penning James BOnd, but a black woman can't get her props for MATRIX. - @Monday, August 1, 2011 5:47 PM

Kung Blao
@AngryAtTechnology75 John Dee was the orignal 007. Ian Fleming took these concepts and created the character James Bond 007. Saying that a black woman didn't write the Matrix is like saying John Dee didn't write James Bond. True Ian Fleming wrote the original James Bond books, but the character itself came fromJohn Dee. True the Wachowski Bros wrote the Matrix, but the character itself came from Sophia Stewart AKA the Oracle. Only a tweaker would argue otherwise. - @Monday, August 1, 2011 5:40 PM

@AngryAtTechnology75 In Batman, they made Jack Nicholson (THE JOKER) the LEAD ROLE because he was the more powerful actor. But if you watch the movie "THEY LIVE", it was also a message to the BLACK Man, but they used Roddy Piper as the lead. However the black actor was a better actor, but they made him the co-star. Just like the Matrix. Morpheus was a more powerful actor but they made him the co-star. SO it seems like a WHITE movie, but it's really a black movie. Just like AVATAR. - @Monday, August 1, 2011 5:35 PM

Kung Blao
@AngryAtTechnology75 The original woman who played the Oracle died, but if you watch Matrix 3, the new Oracle says that she had to "Change her appearance bc she made decisions to help us." This is what happened to the woman who wrote the Matrix. They changed her appearance because she tried to help us. She had to go through Agent Smith in order to get the message out. Smith had to take over her body. Agent Smith (Wachowski Bros) wrote the Matrix using the Oracle's body. THINK. Its not illegal. - @Monday, August 1, 2011 5:30 PM

Kung Blao
@AngryAtTechnology75 Not one movie I named is a WHITE movie, yet you decided to point out that the ACTORS are in WHITE movies. FAIL. Although Batman starred Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson's name came up first because he is the more powerful actor. 48 Hours starred Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy, so it was considered a WHITE movie at the time, but if you watch it today, Eddie Murphy's character is more powerful. Look @ basketball. It was a white sport, but the blacks were more powerful players. - @Monday, August 1, 2011 5:25 PM

Kung Blao
@AngryAtTechnology75 No it wasn't actually "written" by her..and I'm not trying to "argue" as much as you..I'm just making a point that you are trying to "clarify" by making it seem like I'm "arguing". FAIL. Saying a black woman didn't "write" the Matrix is like saying "Blacks are less American than whites". There is truth in what you are saying, but perception allows people to see through the bullshit. - @Monday, August 1, 2011 5:22 PM

@AngryAtTechnology75 Did you know that one of the greatest movies ever made, THE MATRIX, was written by a black woman as a message for black people? Did you know that Will Smith was supposed to play Neo, but he was given double the amount of money just to turn down that role and do a flop called Wild Wild West? Imagine Neo was a black man...The Matrix would have had an entirely different message. This was the message of HERU. Google HERU. That was Neo. As well as HANCOCK. - @Friday, July 29, 2011 9:06 PM

Kung Blao
@AngryAtTechnology75 Black movies during the 80's and 90's are still classic. You forget about RIchard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Danny Glover, Denzel, Morgan Freeman, and PROFESSIONAL BLACK ACTORS. Have you seen the Great Debators? Malcolm X? Ghandi? Menace II Society? Coming to AMerica? Princess and the Frog? Brewster's Millions? Hollywood Shuffle? These movies are CLASSICS. 90% of the WHITE movies that come out today are pure TRASH and full of CGI special effects with no morals. - @Friday, July 29, 2011 9:03 PM
