After an illustrious special ops career ends in disaster, Alexander (Seagal) goes off the grid and attempts to lead a quiet life as a handyman at an apartment complex in Romania. But when one of his tenants and her family fall under the thumb of a local gangster, Alexander is dragged into an all-out war between rival Chinese and Russian gangs; forcing him to not only defend the family, but bringing him face to face with an old foe, and giving him one more chance to reconcile his past.

in terms of technique this is one of the worst movies in years for me. The only thing that was quite cool was the ending and the way the bad guy died with honor. Cool idea. I came here to watch the trailer, but after seeing all the negative comments about Steven Seagal, I just had to watch the movie and see why everyone was so critical. I watched it and actually liked it. I thought it was well made. I don't understand why most people are bitching about this movie or Seagal in general. Is the movie perfect? No, but what movie is? It was, in my opinion, entertaining. Key word, "my opinion". Ever hear the saying "opinions are like assholes, everyone has one?" Who gives a damn if this movie doesn't make any money. Ya'll kill me with your retarded comments that if a movie doesn't make any money, that means it sucks. Steven has done a lot of straight to video movies and I'm sure that most of them didn't make any money. It's obvious that Steven isn't doing movies just to make money. He loves doing action movies and that's why he continues to make them. I saw A Good Man last night and I liked it. The video store that I go to that has it, they usually get new movies on Saturday before it comes out on Tuesday. That's why I saw it yesterday. A Good Man has a lot of action and Steven kicks a lot of ass as usual LOL. I like the cute woman that has a daughter that Steven was protecting from bad guys and she worked at a strip club as a bartender.
