90 pain pills a days for 7 years! How can that be, maybe he had a liver transplant, your only supposed to have about 4,000 mg of acetaminophen a day, thats about maybe under 20 pills a day! 90 a day! So if it’s “like coffee” why then don’t we use coffee to help pain patients and drug addicts? And I’ve witnessed tons of pregnant women myself included with coffee addictions give birth to healthy babies that never convulsed nor required helper meds to detox unlike Kratom babies. I can understand pain patients that are not addicted but the rest of the users it appears to be just as harmful as the FDAs pseudoscience accusations. It’s like both are pointing the finger at each other using the same tactics. Cocaine when in leaf form is non-addictive according to years of tribal farmers that chewed the leaves during harvest, but still illegal. Kratom saved my life from a ten year opiate addiction. I've taken it daily for 4 years and never had any side effects at all. I was actually able to stop all 14 RX medications that I was on thanks to Kratom. My medications averaged $5,000 a month and now Big Pharma doesn't get a dime. I'm not even saying kratom is equal. I've never been addicted, and, i've never even tried kratom, so, all i know, is, clinical cannibus is AMAZING for many people for many reasons. Just judging from what I have seen so far, which is not much. I like that this supports kratom. I hate that it perpetuates the myth that doctor-prescribed opiates are what is driving the so-called "epidemic". (You are not going to become an addict because one sneezed on you!) Illegal fentanyl and heroin kill US citizens every day while patients in horrible, intractable chronic pain are now being denied medications that allowed them some quality of life. Kratom does not work for everyone or everything. Many people NEED opioids just to function normally. This should be the subject of Mr. Bell's next documentary. Kratom is awesome it saved my life. I’ve had 23 back surgeries and was on a really high dosage if OxyContin and other pain killers. My lil brothers started talking Kratom and they told me about it. I thought they were full of shit when they said ppl were using Kratom to get off heroin and other opiates. But I was willing to try anything. OxyContin was slowly destroying me.
