I know a better way to bring back A Nightmare on Elm Street...... Why don’t New Line Cinema make a direct sequel to the original Nightmare on Elm Street from 1984 which will ignore all the subsequent sequels and remake set 35 years after the events of the first film with Robert Englund, Johnny Depp & Heather Langenkamp reprising the roles as Freddy Krueger, Glen Lantz and Nancy Thompson respectively. my opinion: the original " nightmare on elm street " was iconic . although , the acting was TERRIBLE . simple as that . jackie added spice to krueger , when old freddy had little to no personality . honestly , jackie portrayed a more sinister freddy . he had a darker humor than englund . the original wasn't terrible , it's the murders and the new freddy that made this movie just a tiny bit better than the original . - @Sunday, November 4, 2018 2:08 AM
