Almost eleven years after the disastrous expedition to the distant moon LV-223, the deep-space colonisation vessel Covenant, with more than 2,000 colonists in cryogenic hibernation, is on course for the remote planet Origae-6 with the intention to build a new world. Instead, a rogue transmission entices the crew to a nearby habitable planet which resembles Earth. The unsuspecting crewmembers of the Covenant will have to cope with biological foes beyond human comprehension. Ultimately, what was intended as a peaceful exploratory mission, will soon turn into a desperate rescue operation in uncharted space.

visually interesting but stupid... with all high technology... they have no sensors that detect life...heat sensors etc to predict coming of enemy... don't let me start about stupid crew... there is no way that so advanced mission have no protocols to deal with dangers on unknown planet..they basically have state of the art space ships and then they explore planet like in middle ages they hop in the middle of the forest with assault 90s style rifles ..they collect water from stream for analysis back in laboratory ...unbelievable...ships from 23century... methods from 19th century... ,not even predicting everything is dangerous and contaminated etc etc... easily and most logically they would be equipped with bunch of sensors to check hazards of any kind...totally unbelievable... crew is totally stupid...writers would easily change story the way that ship couldn't reach their destination so they will search for alternative emergency landing... no they simply didn't want ti go back to sleep so they land on nearby planet...things just don't go that way on this level of expedition...when first man is clearly sick they don't even make precautions....even if he was on earth with flu they will put on some masks...it hurts my brains if I start to think by watching the movie...so I tried to just watch - @Tuesday, October 30, 2018 6:30 PM
