Derek Vineyard is paroled after serving 3 years in prison for brutally killing two black men who tried to break into/steal his truck. Through his brother, Danny Vineyard's narration, we learn that before going to prison, Derek was a skinhead and the leader of a violent white supremacist gang that committed acts of racial crime throughout L.A. and his actions greatly influenced Danny. Reformed and fresh out of prison, Derek severs contact with the gang and becomes determined to keep Danny from going down the same violent path as he did.

My old manager just told me about this film. I want to watch it but watching movies that deal with racial issues is so hard to watch. I am a black male and it saddens me to see people be taught that I think horrible things about me. To think that I am less of a person because of melanin. It's truly heartbreaking. This is one of the reason I love babies they are so innocent they only see a person they don't care about color about gender about any of the bullshit that society tends to care about. As a white dude from one of the northermost countries in the world, i really don't understand racism. It makes no sense to dislike a person based on the damn colour of their skin. They're all different, just like us white people. The only valid reason to dislike someone is if you just don't like their personality, and guess what? Every black, hispanic and asian person has a different personality. The only thing that will make one race more likely to commit a crime is poverty, solve poverty and you solve crime. And by "The one thing that will make a race more likely to commit crime" I mean that in some countries *Cough* US *Cough* minorities have been discriminated against for decades or even longer.
