I don't understand. Films about superheroes are supposed to be dark, bleak, depressing, grim, humourless, and feature a hero who, despite having astonishing abilities, has so much emotional baggage he doesn't care. Superhero films are supposed to be morose meditations on the futility of existence in a world where good and evil are artificial philosophical constructs. Another thing: Ant-Man's costume is red. Why didn't they fix that in post-production so it's a somber black, blue, or gunmetal outfit? Did they run out out of your basic "drab and dreary" that day? I just read on this comment section that someone thinks Man of Steel is better than all the Marvel Movies except for GotG and Cap 2. WHAT!?
