Truly brilliant, thoughtful, innovative and refreshing this is one of the coolest, spookiest and most mesmerising tales from the cript movies made today. It is fascinating how director blended elements of horror, drama , adventure, mystery and action with old folklore tales and made something really special out of it. Well acted, beautifully photographed, tense , unnerving and eerie at parts with haunting cinematography it plays with your imagination, it is unpredictable and rewarding in the end. Cotch night in with the boys and decided to bang this on after this trailer. Complete let down, 2/10, night ruined. Save yourselves two hours. Potential of about 8/10 if the torture was better and stayed on the cult and not turn to the predictable poorly produced supernatural side. Even though they did, because the cult side of the film is good you keep enticed and pray that the supernatural side isn’t going to be how you think it’ll turn out. You lose hope throughout the film because the supernatural storyline also had potential but they didn’t produce a good story or editing for it and was dreadful. The ending leaves you feeling pissed off and unsatisfied 🤷‍♂️. Save yourself from being drawn in from this trailer (fair play to the editor) for making it look so much better than it is. So much potential and so much let down. Cotch relaxing time ruined. The tale it had on human’s abusing nature is spot on tho and props to it for that.
