In Passaic, NJ, Elroy Fletcher runs a video store in a condemned building he claims was the birthplace of Fats Waller. Fletcher goes on a Waller centennial trip, leaving his foster son Mike in charge of the store. Mike's peculiar friend Jerry tries to sabotage a power station and nearly electrocutes himself, getting magnetized in the process. He inadvertently erases every tape in the store. Mike and Jerry hatch an plan to hide the disaster by making a homemade "Ghostbusters" to rent to a woman whom Fletcher will be phoning to check on them. Soon, with help, their homemade versions of films develop a cult following. Will this new business save the store and the building? What about Fats?

@OubaasStudios The problem is they rented them out under the same name. Even though it said it was sweded, it wouldn't have been illegal if they had called it "Ghost-catchers" or "Ghost-police" or something like that. Things like this happen in TV shows when they want to make an obvious reference to something without taking a trade-mark name (i.e. instead of wal-mart, big box mart) - @Sunday, May 2, 2010 3:36 PM

@yvettesworld2007 UMM obviously they were having a budget crunch if they had to remake the movies themselves. They probably had the camcorder already, and if you watch the whole trailer then you'd know that they just threw the remakes together with whatever they could get their hands on. This movie was absolute crap. Were Jack Black and Mos Def supposed to be unlikeable dimwitted retards in this movie? Mos Def especially, he was acting like he had special needs. What the hell?
