Gretta (Keira Knightley) and her long-time boyfriend Dave (Adam Levine) are college sweethearts and songwriting partners who decamp for New York when he lands a deal with a major label. But the trappings of his new-found fame soon tempt Dave to stray, and a reeling, lovelorn Gretta is left on her own. Her world takes a turn for the better when Dan (Mark Ruffalo), a disgraced record-label exec, stumbles upon her performing on an East Village stage and is immediately captivated by her raw talent. This movie was great I just wish the camera man was better a purely great movie one of the great examples of movies with great story and not enough funding and yet still ...with $8million dollar budget it really did the best it could also perhaps you can consider the camera quality a specific choice to the tone of the movie I think it’s supposed to represent a more real life feel of a struggling musician trying to make their way on the world how how they see it ...however I do not agree with the ending spoiler alert see if you can figure it out *hint* it’s a very small part - @Monday, January 14, 2019 7:06 AM
