The fight was real. No green screen. Yakima Canutt was most likely the greatest stunt coordinator who ever lived. - @Tuesday, March 11, 2014 4:29 AM

any one know how in hell that fight on top of the train was managed. you can see the drop way way below if that was rear projection it fooled me it beats the hell out of CGI the best bone chilling sight I ever saw in the movies fantastic maybe somehow they had mats hidden below to fall on or.......what///?????? any body got the skiinnny on it - @Friday, June 10, 2011 2:19 AM

Naked Tongues
despite by ambivalence about this film, its still so much better than almost any western that followed it right up to and including now, somebody should post a piece or two of it especially the parts with Crenna he was a trip in this - @Thursday, June 9, 2011 2:28 AM

people, what is so great about this movie? it's practically a whole different story from the book, the cast looked and acted nothing like the original characters, the acting was completely deadpan and so on... how could mr mclean write such a great book and mangle the screenplay in this way! - @Friday, February 11, 2011 12:21 AM

Great musical score. Kind of a laughable trailer though; gives away every single action scene, gunshot and most of the plot twists. Ah, the 70's.... Just heard the theme on Cinemagic yesterday so I had to run over to NetFlix to rent it. Loved it as much yesterday as I did when I saw it 35 years ago. - @Monday, November 22, 2010 3:06 PM

Agree..very underrated. I never heard of it until recently. Glad I got a chance to see this unknown gem. - @Monday, February 23, 2009 9:06 AM

Absolutely loved this flick. Great soundtrack as well -- the main themes sound a lot like the main themes from Rambo First Blood Part II. Ed Lauter and Bronson make a great duo, they've been in like 3 or 4 flicks together. - @Friday, January 2, 2009 2:43 AM
