Yup!! I'm with all you guys!! All of you who said this movie scared the shit out of you when you were kids.....Yeah watched this on regular t.v., can't remember what channel, but it wasn't a pay channel. I was about 10, scared the shit out of me also!! Then to find out it was made by the guy who directed my favorite Christmas movie(got a red ryder from my dad around 15 yrs. ago). Totally fucking twisted!!! - @Sunday, April 15, 2018 8:56 PM

The zombie at 2:00 running looks like Michael Keaton in "Beetlejuice." LOL I wonder if this was the inspiration for that movie. - @Friday, November 17, 2017 5:27 AM

Holy smokers! Saw this movie when it was new and I was nine. Scared the living crap outta me! Halfway through it I was routing for the zombies. The living people started to really made me feel PO'd. Not so many years after, had to go to the drive- in for Dawn of the Dead. Didn't rout for the zombies so much after that. Many many years later I started watching The Walking Dead up to the near end of the third season. It was then I started routing for the zombies again. - @Thursday, November 2, 2017 4:36 AM

If you were ever creeped out by Santa in "A Christmas Story," there's a good reason for that. 0:05 "Jeffy" Gillen was Santa in the film for Bob Clark who directed this, ACS, and the horror classic Black Christmas. But Jeff Gillen was also a horror director himself having co-directed the 1974 horror nasty "Deranged: Confessions of a Necrophile." - @Sunday, December 25, 2016 1:43 AM

Damn, that trailer gave up the whole damn movie. That film was campy, but fun as hell to watch. Clark was a brilliant director. RIP. His latter horror films Deathdream and Black Christmas were masterpieces. - @Friday, June 17, 2016 11:24 PM

I remember being 8 years old and in the theater when this trailer was playing. I had to run into the lobby because I was so scared. My older brother who brought me to the theater, was laughing at me. We had gone to see the movies Scorpio & Theater of Blood. I'm now 50, but still remember that evening, like it was yesterday. - @Monday, August 10, 2015 1:56 AM

The zombie scenes and the zombies themselves were actually really well done. Only the shitty acting and half assed story line fucked it all up. When the zombies come out of he ground the music is crazy, it kinda reminded me Evil Dead. - @Tuesday, May 5, 2015 1:40 AM

When the commercial for this movie played on TV (1972) it was a short version of this trailer, and I only remember seeing it once.  I think it started about the 1:50--2:00 point.  It scared the doggy-doo out of me!  I asked the lady at the movie house (only one in our town) if that movie was coming; she looked at me like I was a 12-year-old pervert!  It never got there! - @Friday, May 2, 2014 6:22 PM

This was Rated "R"-Under 17 Requires Accompanying Parent or Adult Guardian. Directed by the great Bob Clark, the same Bob Clark who directed the horror slasher "Black Christmas",and went on to direct two of the greatest movies of the 1980's...the runaway comedy classic "Porky's",and the classic "A Christmas Story" - @Wednesday, January 15, 2014 6:01 PM

THATS totaly diffeerent from this though. This flick is more like an old fashioned and creepy horror film, where's Zombieland is more of a contemporary action shoot'em up type flick. - @Monday, July 16, 2012 5:18 PM

Yes, and THAT particular fact does get acknowledged in this flick, when one character exclaims "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh GOD!!!!! They buried him without Rightguard!!!!!" ( best line in the whole movie in fact ). - @Monday, July 16, 2012 5:14 PM
