A meteor enters the Earth's atmosphere and splits in two pieces. One piece strikes the center of a small mountain town and immediately starts to freeze everything and everyone nearby. The second piece forms a tropical zone amongst the snow and ice. A university grad student and a local man struggle to join the two pieces of the meteorite back together to save the town and mankind.

This movie was actually really good for not been one of those american high dollar movies. A lot of those american movies suck specially the ones that are supposed to be funny but they end up to be very stupid and and goofy. The only thing that makes those movies good the high dollar trailers. Then the next thing every wants to see them because in the U.S people have the habit of trying to fit in with others just as high school kids…. Im just saying that some movies might not have the best trailers but they turn up to be really good. And some have good trailers and turn up to be a really shitty film. Too corny for words. This science fiction movie had very little to do with science. It's not that I mind seeing corpsicles but why did some of them stay solid and others broke into pieces. What's really stupid is how can any vehicle outrun a "flash freeze." Seriously, does anyone think holding a kerosene lamp or a flare would keep you warm from basically what would be cryogenic atmospheric temperatures. "Faster, faster." "It's going as fast as it can."
