It was a typical morning in London when a powerful bomb exploded in the heart of the city. After the smoke cleared, sole surviving terrorist cell member Farroukh Erdogan (Denis Moschitto) was quickly taken into custody. As preparations for his trial begin, however, the government's plan to use classified evidence to prosecute the suspect leads the Attorney General (Jim Broadbent) to appoint Special Advocate Claudia Simmons-Howe (Hall) to the case. Claudia's unique position as a government-approved defense lawyer ensures that she can review the top-secret evidence, and advocate for full disclosure during the inevitable "closed" session portion of the trial. Once Claudia has reviewed the evidence, however, any communication with the defense team and the defendant himself is strictly forbidden. Later, When Erdogan's lawyer dies just before the trial begins, Claudia's driven ex-lover, attorney Martin Rose (Bana), takes his place. No no no. More dramatic pauses and and serious tones. Horror film would have been the way to go. I'm not saying the whole situation is horrific, well for me it'll always be he'll on earth. But ive learned that we all have our own perception of hell. Yeah some parts would have to be emphasized but only because I'd have to actually portray to an audience a scary movie that ... Was suppressed in my own mind. But there are many other different ways to about! Absolutely! Drama, psychologial ( not to rip off Mr Night) but I have a fantastic twist well that's kinda optimistic. Ive had years to think about how to go about it I guess it goes without saying buy most ending would be dark or semi dark. Great movie. Gives the public an idea of public/ privately funded surveillance tactics. When you are meant to know what's going on operators outwardly mock or give off obvious tells that ppl on the receiving end are meant to see. And then that person is forced to ask themselves how many years it was going on? He or she then gets anxious, loses sleep, is pushed to abuse alcohol or drugs. The movies main characters as lawyers were tracked for many years, possibly all their lives as are many potential criminals, their families, potential leaders and those in between that are of a demographic that might be useful in the future. The movie is fiction but that part is not. Any and all complaints about the above are treated as paranoia, psychosis, stupidity, or due to watching too much YT. Whatevers convenient. Bouncing the public between privacy (lone terrorists) and security (thousands of public cams, NSA) coming and going and hiding behind the default setting of disbelief b/ c everything done is designed to be beyond belief. - @Tuesday, March 17, 2015 1:45 AM

I like it how Britain has millions of cameras, and watches every single aspect of daily lives, and when something bad happens, mostly a threat to the lands, those moments can easily be erased as they can be recorded. "I'm supposed to be paranoid". A line from the movie where everything is set up to sound that way when described to a 3rd party. Classic methods that allow security agencies to get away with anything in real life. The movie shows how the lawyers involved were tracked by Gov. for much or maybe all their lives. They are being "nudged" or pushed in desired directions w/o their knowledge. Their real life counterparts might think that everything that happens in their lives is reflective of their good efforts or screw-ups. Google "Hemingway FBI NY Times FOIA". The FBI were tracking Hemingway for 20 years. Like in this movie, the person being tracked thinks that everything that happened to them was just coincidence. After awhile the ppl doing the tracking don't care if the target knows what is happening b/c their lives have been screwed with so much that no one can possibly believe them. Michael Hastings, the journalist might have had the same thing happen to him. He probably noticed that there were too many negative coincidences, & assumed, like many journalists that they are being watched. Then the ppl surveilling actually flaunt what they're doing & laugh while doing it. The person loses sleep, drinks too much, and then a car "accident". Ppl like Alex Jones are designated to say something deliberately stupid like it was a drone hit. Manufactured confusion. - @Friday, January 3, 2014 1:55 AM
