In 1946, the former boxers Dwight "Bucky" Bleichert and Lee Blanchard are policemen in Los Angeles. Lee has a good relationship with his chief and uses a box fight between them to promote the department and get a raise to the police force. They succeed and are promoted to homicide detectives, working together. Bucky becomes a close friend of Lee and his girlfriend Kay Lake, forming a triangle of love. When the corpse of the aspirant actress 'Elizabeth Short (I)' is found mutilated, Lee becomes obsessed to solve the case called by the press Black Dahlia. Meanwhile, Bucky's investigation leads him to a Madeleine Linscott, the daughter of a powerful and wealthy constructor that resembles the Black Dahlia. In an environment of corruption and lies, Bucky discloses hidden truths.

Осторожное не означает, что не предпринимать никаких действий, а задавать вопросы, которые некоторые считают само собой разумеющимся. Указывая на Интернет и обвиняя в киберпространстве, я думаю, это потраченное впустую время, так как что такое цифровое ... это безопасное пространство. Пресловутый щит от всех ожогов. Оседлая утопия для обмена честной добротой и свободного мышления. Хотя в мире гораздо больше пользы, чем плохо (поэтому я хочу верить), это раздражает, что у 5 плохих вещей может быть поставлено 100 хороших вещей. Honestly, a lot of people are killed all over the globe and never caught their killers. I think Hollywood give serial killers the fame they need to feel rectified. However, I do watch movies about serial killers and study them. This is slightly hypocritical , but they could at least honor the victims. She got famous for all the wrong reasons. Although the Hollywood rendition is a fictional film this theme I think should not keep people from being cautious. Cautious does not mean to not take action rather but to question the actions that some take for granted. Pointing at the internet and blaming cyberspace I think is a wasted spending of time as what is digital... is a Safe Space. A proverbial shield from all the burns. A sedentary utopia for sharing honest kindness and thinking freely. Although there is a lot more good in the world than bad (so I desire to believe), it is annoying that 5 bad things can have 100 Good things questioned. I've been told before verbally " I will see what I can do " and suddenly am muted. " We are here to help " sometimes can mean " Until I make it you don't. " Trustworthiness is more valuable than diamond or any valued stone I think one reason I stay happy is considering the good (which there is much) and the bad like the thing that leads some people to end up like in this movie (based on true events) is about " timing " and honestly following guidance. " LA Blues " is an understatement for the " Collateral " paid if a guess is wrong. Happy Good and Peaceful Disposition is the alternative & there is no shortage of " Good Ending " stories for the (to me) very " Bad Ending " this film shares... Yet for every " Taken " there at least 10 Kaleido Stars (times 12 =3) So... Not being " Dreary " -- simply sharing being cautious is as important as being persistent, determined or passionate. There are good people all around. It's avoiding the cruelly bad people that allows continued cheers and celebration. Not everything is bad. This movie was good at showing how bad truly bad really is. In music, in video games, in movies like this one... is where Ms. Short should stay. In a world so full of good why do some choose to hurt others? =S Paranoid is not the word for being cautious.
