DJ Zack and pimp Jack end up in prison for being too laid-back to avoid being framed for crimes they didn't commit. They end up sharing a cell with eccentric Italian optimist Roberto, whose limited command of the English language is both entertaining and infuriating. More useful to them is the fact that Roberto knows an escape route.

The movie that turned me on to the music of Tom Waits. I saw the film at a local art theater and ran a few shops down to the nearby record store and found Rain Dogs with Jockey Full of Bourbon. It was a voice like I had never heard before and became an instant fan. Too bad he didn't tour like regular muscians because he is high on my wishlist of performers I'd love to see live.
