I watched this and thought it was pretty cool, a new concept (kind of, bit like the borrowers) it had a funny tone, likeable characters, etc and a enjoyable plot. I seen that it had bad reviews but seen the stars in it and I thought "it can't be that bad" and it wasn't. I don't know if it's just me, but I think critics are too damn harsh nowadays, everyone wants to be like chris stuckmann or the nostalgia critic or something because that type of media's popular. It's not a perfect film, sure, but it wasn't terrible, it was pretty creative and unique if you ask me. There are a lot of films I like that get absolutely trashed, in fact the vast majority of films are considered terrible and only artsy ones get praised. I made it a hour and 33 minutes into the movie before quitting. I REALLY tried hard for this movie, I wanted to love it and gave it a chance. It's awful, acting is bad, character development is terrible, the plot is 40 minutes of boring as as normal people followed by 5 minutes of drama, then another hour of boring film following Damon's boring/pathetic life as a small person.
