The story begins with Goku, who seeks out upon his adoptive grandfather Grandpa Gohan's dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls. Of which he has one, in order to prevent the evil Lord Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world. And Goku's quest is to obtain the mystical Dragonballs before Piccolo does.

for the budget they used, I believe they could have done better even though it looks pretty good. best live action visuals so far in my opinion. storyline and sticking to the anime sucks though. complete shit job and really just ruined it. great live action is great n all but its not what makes it good. its sticking with the script and getting every detail of the show just right. if you can do that we can bypass the visuals, I think. add it all up I feel that dbz light of hope did better. at least they really paid attention to most of the details. honestly at this point that's more than I can ask for considering how bad this movie was. if fox wanted to make a dbz movie they should have made a "fan made" film and maybe they woulda knocked it outa the park. but oh well.
