In the Antarctic, after an expedition with Dr. Davis McClaren, the sled dog trainer Jerry Shepherd has to leave the polar base with his colleagues due to the proximity of a heavy snow storm. He ties his dogs to be rescued after, but the mission is called-off and the dogs are left alone at their own fortune. For six months, Jerry tries to find a sponsor for a rescue mission while his dogs fight for survival.

only a dog person can know the true feeling, the original movie "antartica" was sad when I was just a child, it inspired me into sled dogs and wolves, samoyeds, malamutes, akitas, and huskies, cried my heart out with this movie, and now, cry even more, now that paul walker has passed, he is better in 8 below, then in fast and furious. I remember watching this when I was about 7, with my family. I literally didn't care about any of the people in it, and when the dogs died, I cried so much that my dad made me go to bed.
