Adam Sandler invites you to share some holiday cheer in the new, no-holds-barred musical comedy Adam Sandler's 8 Crazy Nights. Davey Stone, a 33-year old party animal, finds himself in trouble with the law after his wild ways go too far. In keeping with the holiday spirit, the judge gives Davey one last chance at redemption-spend the holiday performing community service as the assistant referee for the youth basketball league or go to jail. Davey thinks he's gotten off easy until he meets Whitey Duvall, the eccentric, elf-like head referee. The mismatch between Whitey's good heart and never-ending optimism and Davey's constant troublemaking soon have them both wondering if going to jail wouldn't have been easier! In this new, full-length animated feature about basketball, old girlfriends, holiday spirits, and the mall, Adam Sandler voices the three lead characters of Whitey, Davey, and Whitey's fraternal twin sister Eleanore!

I watched this movie on Crackle recently in my country, it was pretty entertaining for the 1/5 of the movie but got boring and boring when I watched minute after minute of it. For me it was like watching Saving Christmas, except with little redeeming value. I am surprised this got a 5.3 rating on IMDB. IT DESERVES LOWER THAN 5! No wonder this film is viewed as PhantomStrider as one of the worst animated movies ever! I found out about this movie before he even shown it on his worst animated movies list. I was thirteen when I first watched this. Already I'd gone through a whole lot. My parents were thinking about divorcing. My bother was sick all the time. He was in the hospital a lot. I had orginally wanted to see this film for the sake of what it was marketed as: a good Adam Sandler comedy. I wanted to watch it because I needed a quick laugh. I got more than expected. It was a funny take on old, classic movies like 'It's A Wonderful Life' and 'A Christmas Carol'! I enjoyed it, but not for the reasons I expected in the first place. I'm actually starting to think that if you're sick of watching those chessy, old Christmas movies your parents force you to watch every year, you can always watch this instead. I just do not care if it doesn't have the key holiday things in it: Santa, snow, trees, etc. The ending made me cry, which makes it a good movie for December.
