I honestly have no problem with Michael B. Jordon as the Human Torch. Out of the entire cast, that is the most spot on. My problem is a bunch of people will be confused as to why his sister isn't black either. Kate Mara is the weekest link in this cast and they missed the opportunity to cast a black actress for the role. Film's a visual medium and typically if two characters are related, you want them to visually appear related. That's casting 101. It's stupid. I don't like the idea of Johnny and Sue NOT being related by blood or being half siblings or adopted siblings or whatever. The brother and sister dynamic between the two is one of the best in an comic ever. Now it's... ugh. Keep Jordon and toss Mara for a black actress because there honestly isn't too many black female roles around unless it's a civil rights/slavery film and this would have been a good chance for a new take on Sue Storm too. - @Wednesday, August 5, 2015 8:43 PM
