In Serbia, Baron Frankenstein lives with the Baroness and their two children. He dreams of a super-race, returning Serbia to its grand connections to ancient Greece. In his laboratory, assisted by Otto, he builds a desirable female body, but needs a male who will be super-body and super-lover. He thinks he has found just the right brain to go with a body he's built, but he's made an error, taking the head of a asexual ascetic. Meanwhile, the Baroness has her lusts, and she fastens on Nicholas, a friend of the dead lad. Can the Baron pull off his grand plan? He brings the two zombies together to mate. Meanwhile, Nicholas tries to free his dead friend. What about the Baron's children?

These movies are so enjoyably bad. However they are not so bad it's good. For me, so bad it's good mean that everything was done wrong. However, the only flaws with this movie are the acting and the writing. The special effects are good and the production values pretty good for low budget films. - @Saturday, June 16, 2012 8:48 PM

Man alive -- just looked at Udo Kier's page on Imdb (after mistaking him for Keir Dullea from 2001 --mnughu!). That guy has a work ethic. - @Sunday, January 29, 2012 10:20 AM

My sister took me to a double feature of these when I was 12 or 13. Flesh was in 3D. Around that time she also took me to Pink Flamingos, City of Women, 7 Beauties, Freaks and a bunch of other crazy movies. No wonder I end up the way I am. - @Friday, October 22, 2010 10:18 PM

Funny how so many art house types fall over themselves, when this was nothing but grind-house fodder with Warhol's name across it. - @Tuesday, September 21, 2010 9:31 PM

I discoverd these late at night on netflix. Watched one after the other and then dawn arrived. The apotheosis of camp, in my opinion. - @Wednesday, April 7, 2010 8:02 PM

I couldn't say exactly what type of girl I'd be in a horror movie because I'd need a sex change and a lot of make up. But if I was a guy in a horror film, I'd probably the one crazy about the tough girl. You're right about one thing: virginity is overrated. However, a continuous striving for purity, virgin or not, is the most important thing. - @Thursday, December 17, 2009 2:02 AM

But would those movies sell if there wasn't any truth there? If you were a girl in a horror movie, which type of girl would it be? - @Wednesday, December 16, 2009 5:02 AM

That's Hollywood for ya. But if those stereotypes are simply not true, how can it be that they are constantly re-occurring themes throughout film? - @Wednesday, December 16, 2009 4:11 AM

-I totally agree with you 100% on virginity being so overrated- Virginity in what context? Before marriage? Lifelong? Why? - @Sunday, December 13, 2009 6:17 PM

A rule for people in horror films: Don't have SEX! Do IT you die. Its weird that a film made in the 70s is that progressive in its thinking but can still be the antithesis of the modern movie. Not only is virginity seen as outdated but losing it actually became the salvation for a character of this film. I think that after the 70s society became more aware of the dangers of sex, STDs became more of a prevalent problem and the film industry turn them into the monsters that killed teenagers. - @Saturday, November 21, 2009 3:58 AM

Spoilers... I totally agree with you. I think Dracula was a victim here. He just wanted a wife instead the man whore chopped him up (funniest Dracula death scene ever IMO). There are some pretty good artistic shots in this (vomiting the blood, can't turn away if you try) But I think the director's main point is that times are changing, virginity is overrated and the nobility (Dracula) no longer have a place in modern society. You kinda get the feeling that Warhol was a communist, was he? - @Thursday, November 19, 2009 6:31 AM

Yes at a rep cinema. And might see it again this month. Well the 3D effects have their moments like the guts hanging toward the camera or when a character is speared and its pointing outward. But even though it was trying for laughs I did find the film that funny, a bit dull, its rather slow moving. Maybe it'll like it more next time. And I will see Blood for Dracula I heard the director did a better job on that one. - @Tuesday, July 14, 2009 4:13 AM

Did you get to see Frankenstein in 3D? I heard it's awesome! Dracula was also funny whining for 'wirgin blood'. - @Monday, July 13, 2009 3:38 AM

Nice double bill. Did catch Flesh for..., some years ago on the big screen. Amusing, if not extremely entertaining. Blood for Dracula is more enjoyable I hear. The trailer was very good. Thanks for posting! - @Monday, June 15, 2009 10:16 AM
