By day Gerri Dandridge is a sexy professor, but by night she transforms into a real-life vampire with an unquenchable thirst for human blood. So when a group of high school students travel abroad to study in Romania, they find themselves ensnared in Gerri's chilling web of lust and terror. Charley and "Evil" Ed must stop Gerri from drinking and bathing in the blood of a "new moon virgin," which just so happens to be Charley's ex-girlfriend, Amy. They enlist help from Peter Vincent, the vampire hunting host of a reality show called "Fright Night," to drive a stake through Gerri's plan and save Amy from a fate far worse than death.

Why do they do remake films that are already perfect such as Fright Night 1 & 2? Both 1985/1988 movies & soundtracks were far superior. The first 2011 remake was okay, had some nice touches though, but both movies are pale in comparison to originals. The only cast member similar to the original character was Anton Yelchin who played William Ragsdale (Charlie Brewster) role, and David Tennent (Peter Vincent) although did a very good impression of Jack Sparrow is no Roddy McDowell sadly. Colin Farell as head Vamp (Jerry Dandrige) didn't have the gravitas as actor Chris Saradon, and Christopher Minzt Plasse who played Evil looked like character Barry Kripke from Big Bang Theory and light years from the original Evil Ed Stephen Geoffreys, and less said about the second 2013 instalment the better. - @Wednesday, March 25, 2015 10:46 AM

Who hired this mush mouth slut? Regarding the film : Again the lack of originality in Hollywood seems limitless. Laws of physics are trashed - 120 lb. female vs oncoming auto = Front of auto smashed. Clark Kent had the SAME effect in the WB TV series "Smallville" + it was used with the Mex guy in the film "Constantine". She is impacted & potentially undamaged, as the automobile is of mundane fiberglass & chromed bumpers. HOWEVER, mass & forward momentum = the bitch goes airborne. Sorry, folks, blame that pesky thing called object in motion with less impeding mass as obstacle. The supposedly sexy actress, portraying a sensuous minxy, yet dangerous vixen vamp = BORING & typical bland features, no tits, & all of the acting prowess as a wad of well-chewed gum stuck to your shoe. Amazingly, each day, dozens of scripts from men & women all over America, all over the world arrive at various studios yet these are doomed to the trash, while the law of averages concedes that at least 1 / month would be a hit (if 1 in 100 chance). Instead, Hollywood dishes out microwave baby pablum that has the same droll scripts re-done from other hit films & has zero for credible entertainment value. Nothing is challenges, no limits set, no cultural expansion. Special effects & a bunch of no talent, plain or ugly looking people aping parts that NEVER should have made it to the silver screen are regaled as new hit wonders. Solution?
