While he and his friends research the events and visit the real psychiatric hospital depicted in the original film, they find themselves face-to-face with unspeakable evil, banking on the hope that their knowledge of the original film will help them survive the sequel.

I just watched the movie with my family.. honestly this movie is not that bad it's just not my favorite because the first one made more sense.. because first of all they came in the asylum just because they want to investigate/make a documentary while the first one came in the place because of a Show. but I definitely recommend the movie if you're more on jumpscare or violent (just some of the parts) type of movie. Somehow, the first and second film look very different even though it's the same thing. It almost looks like the second film was made for people thinking the grave encounters was real to shut them up but actually the two movies are so distant in almost every aspect that they achieved just the opposite, like the first movie wasn't just a movie but a real thing. I wouldn't be surprised how would we know, how would anyone know it's not or that it is real if you weren't there spending the night inside yourself?
