The actors constantly ride through the same tiny patch of forest. The f/x are done with Silly String and fire extinguishers. The "monsters" are obviously hand puppets. The dialogue consists of every cliché line possible in a sword and sorcery movie. The music sounds like disco. Hawk aprende a controlar poderes místicos que emulan a La Fuerza y el duelo de espadas tiene el estilo de los sables de luz en Star Wars, incluso la luz verde de la gema al final de la empuñadura en la espada de Hawk recuerda a simple vista los sables de luz azules o verdes de los jedis... es la recreación de los arquetipos eternos del bien y el mal. Best Film Ever ! Silly string as magic. An elf who can kill 3 people with one arrow and who talks like a robot. A giant who is a very tall man and likes Carry On films. An Irish hunchback who talks with his mouthful and you cannot make out a single word that he is saying. Nuns. Ping ping balls as magic bullets. I am of the opinion that this film, Labryinth, Krull and The Neverending Story would actually benefit from a remake with todays technology. This would be good.
