How NOT to make a film about an interesting real-life person: 1. Find an actor who doesn't look anything like Hickok. 2. Give the actor a beard like the one Hickok never had. 3. Dress him in clothes that Hickok never wore. 4. Invent a story that never happened and liberally mix fact with fiction, while ignoring all the amazing stories that the real Hickok experienced. 5. I love westerns but could they have found an actor who looks less like James Butler (Wild Bill) Hickok then this guy.
