Yeah I get why people hate Uwes films, but this movie doesn't deserve to be shat on like it is.. Yeah the random images of the game is weird, it doesn't follow the awesome games and the plot is your typical teens survival, but Clint Howard is in it, the zombies don't look bad, it is not just people with face paint splashed on, the muzzle flashes on the guns and the impacts of the bullets aren't CGI, I've seen so many worse straight to DVD zombie movies of the early 2000's this is one of the better ones. - @Sunday, June 25, 2017 10:56 PM

Uwe Bowl ruined my childhood. I was a huge fan of THOTD when I was a kid. So when this movie came out on VHS, I was really excited about it. My dad rented the film for me to watch and I fell a sleep during the first 20 mins of the film. A few years later, My aunt had a DVD copy and I watched the rest of the film knowing that this is one of the worst and inaccurate films ever made. This film is worse than the SMB live action film and the Resident Evil action film combined. This movie makes me want to punch the wall on how inaccurate it is.
