I totally get the meaning and the intended feel it’s meant to give you buuuuuut literally can’t relate. No it’s not cause it lacked a bunch of jump scares, it was just simply boring. It’s super annoying people are calling others brainless and what not because they didn’t like the movie lol even if it is cause the movie didn’t have jump scares all through it, so what 🤔, people are scared in different ways. So here's what I don't get. Hugh clearly knows a lot about "It". He tells Jay and her friends that he, and I'm quoting here, "thinks" that he contracted "It" from a one night stand whose name he doesn't even remember. Given that he's not entirely sure from whom exactly he got it, he just logically makes the conclusion that it must've been the last girl he slept with before "It" started appearing, how the fuck does he know all those things about "it". The fact that he's not 100% sure about who gave it to him means that the one night stand didn't give him any kind of heads up or guidance in regards to "It". So how the fuck does he know everything that he does? Did he just pull it out of his ass? He couldn't have possibly known unless the girl that he slept with told him.
