Just because someone is talented does not mean they can't be a total jerk who is in full jackass mode. Many popular musicians are junkies and fans love them, but if you knew them in person a junkie is a total asshole that no one wants to be around. The only person who wants to be around a junkie is another junkie, even if that doesn't quite apply to jaco, you see that talent and personality are too entirely separate things.
