You actually have to be an idiot to make this the trailer to this movie. What the fuck? Were they TRYING to make it fail? Making it look like a horror movie? I just watched it (and knew what to expect)... and it was good! But if I watched this movie expecting what the horror movie depicts here? I'd have been pissed—and rightly so. Wow. Just wow. Most hate this movie just because M. Night directed it. And I don't think it's fair. I also don't like most of his recent movies but I personally love Lady in the Water. It's not a very Hollywood movie with explosions and superficiality. Most would probably snooze in the theater watching this but the few of us lucky enough would understand and enjoy the movie for what it is. We get it: butt-hurt Avatar fans have been seeking to destroy Shyamalan's career for years. It wouldn't matter if he were to make the most perfect film of all time, Avatar fans would still pan it. What they fail to realize is that Michael DiMartino & Bryan Konietzko (who created Avatar) both endorsed Shymalan's film, and in fact advised him while he was writing the script and casting the roles. M. Night Shymalan had huge potential as a director...very few strike as big on a directorial debut like he did with "Sixth Sense"....it's a shame none of his newer films compare. Lack of character and story development, un-sophisticated plots and an overuse of twists, Shymalan's originality in regrettably declining with every film. This is just an opinion, guys.
