Cecil Gaines was a sharecropper's son who grew up in the 1920s as a domestic servant for the white family who casually destroyed his. Eventually striking out on his own, Cecil becomes a hotel valet of such efficiency and discreteness in the 1950s that he becomes a butler in the White House itself. There, Cecil would serve numerous US Presidents over the decades as a passive witness of history with the American Civil Rights Movement gaining momentum even as his family has troubles of its own. As his wife, Gloria, struggles with her addictions and his defiant eldest son, Louis, strives for a just world, Cecil must decide whether he should take action in his own way.

I saw The Butler last weekend and i liked it. Oprah was something else LOL. I was surprised to see Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard, Clarence Williams III, Mariah Carey, rapper David Banner in this. I felt so sorry for Forest when he was a teenager and he was trying to find a job and he couldn't get one and he didn't have a place to live. This movie is absolutely ridiculous. So many misfit and made up stories compilation, with only few that are the truth. I do believed that what's happening in past was very hard for a lot of people, and ton of people had to fight theirs way to calm things down, but this movie is a poor taste of what's been happening, in which it's was direct by a racist asshole Lee Daniels whose had a poor education, and also with compilation of all of racist & terrible human beings actors/actresses (David Banner, Aml Ameen, Oprah Winfrey, Tyson Ford, Cuba Gooding Jr., Robin Williams, Mariah Carey, and Jane Fonda) are all in one movie. I swear, I hope this racist bitch Oprah Winfrey will get what's coming for her after all of shit she pulled with hers speech.
