Yeah, I know the first film is a classic movie, but I found the second film to be an improvement in most ways. The storyline was more personal and felt more climactic by connecting it with Riggs' past, the action and humor was ramped up, the performances were more refined. I felt like the second film was more thought-out, concise and refined. Not to say the first film was bad, it's a fantastic film, I just preferred the second.
