The most underrated Bond movie EVER! Timothy Dalton was brilliant, Dobert Davi was brilliant as Sanchez. I love how Bond infiltrated his organization. That doesn´t happen often enough in the movies! - @Wednesday, December 12, 2018 11:18 AM

This was a real gem among Bond movies because of it's simple, non-convoluted premise: James Bond killing a drug lord for revenge. - @Wednesday, August 15, 2018 1:27 AM

Dalton was ahead of his time. I dare say Dalton could have done the Craig films better than Craig if he'd been in his prime when does movies entered production. - @Friday, July 13, 2018 7:10 AM

Never cared for this one. Doesn't really fit Bond's character, Bond is not emotional over the loss of agents or people around him. He has had women he's slept with murdered and not been phased by it. Felix Lietner, although a staple of the films for a while , was always a supporting character and not someone Bond would have gone to the ends of the earth to avenge. - @Thursday, October 5, 2017 8:40 AM

the best bond ever. played out like an ian fleming novel, slower, more character development, darker. dalton is superb. it gets better and better every time i watch it. - @Friday, September 22, 2017 7:06 AM

Timothy Dalton. He was the assassin of the Bonds. He was a dark, brooding badass who stopped at nothing to get the job down. He was my favorite Bond, and still is. Now Licence To Kill is an underrated masterpiece. The dark, gritty tone of the film with harsh violence mixed with some of the greatest action sequences ever filmed. Great storytelling and cast with a realistic villain and plot. - @Monday, August 1, 2016 8:42 PM

To be honest, this guy Timothy Dalton is the sharp-edge ravaging smart and awesome he is a super spicy hot James Bond and his second and last movie has a darker side plot about the mission and also his personal revenge for his friend. - @Tuesday, July 5, 2016 2:56 PM

License To Kill, Was a best film and great performance by The best Bond Timothy Dalton made the series serious, realistic and great again, Why in those days totally h8ted this great film, if it is because of turning thr series serious and brutal? i mean seriously!? james bond was made for adults and not for kids, ffs this is a spy film! and not a guy who can save the world, this film really is underrated imean they dont appreciate this kind of bond, but when GoldenEye releases Negative Backlashes came to License To Kill, when the series go further to the future they got tired and wanted to go back to the basics, how dumb people those days, they should appreciate license to kill because it made the series what is supposed to be, when Casino Royale Appears Positive Backlash came to License To Kill, they only known and became known to the series when the craig era came, License to Kill deserves more - @Thursday, June 30, 2016 1:38 PM

License To Kill Revolutionized The whole series like the added violence , From PG to R , Made the series serious again , transformed from a friendly family film to Adults , Made the series Great Again , Dark Greedy and Brooding. - @Thursday, June 30, 2016 1:26 PM

Love this Bond, pub fight with stuffed swordfish! Excellent, and Timothy Dalton was the best looking and best actor in the series. Wish he'd done more Bond. - @Thursday, June 16, 2016 8:36 AM

The most direct precursor to Craig! The problem with Licence To kill which I actually liked was that it was produced by Hollywood not England and came out after Die Hard and during the summer of Lethal Weapon 2! I think comeback kid of now ironically, Joel Silver, had something to do with the production if I'm not mistaken and his slick Hollywood action movie style  did not seem right to James Bond diehards! If you look at the cast of American actors, some of them were in Lethal Weapon and Die Hard! Robert Davi in particular! But still Dalton played the role to a tee! Some have said over the years as a matter of fact he may have been the closest Bond to honor Ian Fleming's original vision for the character! - @Wednesday, June 8, 2016 3:33 AM

the very first James Bond movie I ever saw and it is still my favorite. Timothy Dalton for me was the best James Bond until Daniel Craig took the role.I Wish Timothy had done at least one more that would have been cool... - @Saturday, May 14, 2016 7:48 PM

Humorless, Too long, too boring, too many bad actors/dialogue and a horrible villain. The opening sequences should have hit the editing floor. - @Monday, May 9, 2016 11:04 PM

All us Dalton fans wish he was respected more as the Identity of Bond and wishes he was in more, however you cannot say the James Bond team didn't overlook him. Being asked 2 or 3 times to be Bond before 1987 and being offered the role in Goldeneye. Dalton being interesting and different to other high profile actors, going in cool dramas and performing in the theatre instead. - @Thursday, April 28, 2016 12:40 PM
