this movie unfolded in a way that wasn't entirely intriguing for me, but i stuck around, for Fannie the cat, (sersly) and Holly Hunter. oh, and his son. oh. and Pacino. just deal with this movie. especially if you are, say, over 40. and the WATERMELON scene is beyond words. - @Saturday, May 20, 2017 8:42 PM

They filmed it here in Austin and use my friend joes house as Mangelhorns characters home . That's my friends backyard and red z28 in the background in the scene where he is talking to his son. Al Pacino was very cool and gave us plenty of autographs and was more than happy to take pictures with us. It was an experience I will never forget. - @Tuesday, October 13, 2015 10:08 PM

This is one helluva wonderful movie. Al Pacino and Holly Hunter gave the performance of a lifetime. I really enjoyed every scene; especially, how all of Manglehorn's accomplishments are brought together at the very end, with the "invisible key". There was something special about his character; it makes you think about who this guy (Manglehorn) really was. The birthday story was hilarious: I laughed with the characters. - @Tuesday, June 30, 2015 10:39 AM

I am willing to watch just about anything these days due to the lack of quality movies.. That is the only reason I made it to the end credits of this movie.. Titles like this is where washed up actors go to die. - @Saturday, June 27, 2015 9:32 PM
