Just when the streets seemed safe, a serial killer with a fetish for scalps is back and on the hunt. Frank is the withdrawn owner of a mannequin store, but his life changes when young artist Anna appears asking for his help with her new exhibition. Not saying this is a bad film, but you've gotta either be braindead or one of those millennium types that can't appreciate classic movies if you think this even comes close to the original 1980 Maniac with Joe Spinell. His portrayal of maniac, which he wrote too, is nothing short of disturbing, tied with the music, the special makeup and effects by Tom Savini, the narration in Maniac head, the authentic 80's American setting, it's just outstanding.
