This is a phenomenal movie. Every single thing about this movie is spot on except that every computer is locked when an employee leaves his/her desk(Sorry, just had to say it. It's a pretty big deal in the offices). I just didn't want this movie to end. You can correlate to everything including the restroom design if you have stepped foot inside Wall Street(company) 9/10 - @Monday, March 13, 2017 5:34 AM

2:09 Did they imply the digging scene means Kevin Spacey's character just killed someone and now he's burying the body? WTF... he's burying his dog who just died from cancer! Wow... what a horrible trailer. - @Thursday, February 4, 2016 5:52 PM

It's just money, it isn't real, pieces of paper with pictures on it, so we don't have to kill each others just to get something to eat. There will always be starving dogs and fat cats in this world. There is nothing wrong and it certainly no different today than it's ever been. - Jeremy Irons explaining the big picture to Kevin Spacey after they dumped all the toxic MBS in the market! (Mortgage Back Securities) - @Saturday, June 27, 2015 7:10 PM

This is either an amazing coincidence or exceptional writing: Kevin Spacey's dog represents the economy. It's sick in the beginning as has been for a couple weaks. They have leveraged their financial "packages" to levels far too high and have been above that point for a couple weeks. Then Jeremy Irons makes the comment about digging holes, which is ironic because they have just dug a hole to bury the sick economy by selling frantically. This is then represented in the end by Kevin Spacey digging a hole to bury his dead dog at the end of the movie. They then decide to play no music during the credits but just the sound of digging to further emphasize the point. - @Monday, February 16, 2015 5:05 PM

Glengarry Glen Ross, Wall Street, Rogue Trader, Boiler Room, The Wolf of Wall Street, Wall Street 2, Margin Call, Too Big to Fail. (If you watch these in order, it's like one big long story of greed and excess from the 1980s, through the 90s, and arriving at the 2008 disaster and the bailouts.) - @Sunday, March 9, 2014 2:54 PM

One major problem was that no one knew where risk actually was. Structured products such as credit default swaps "transferred risk" from the investor to the insurer, such as AIG, Lehman brothers etc. H/e these products were further broken down to CDOs, CDO2S, CDO3s, etc. and sold on the market. It got so complicated that it became near impossible to determine their true value and who actually owned these assets. - @Tuesday, October 29, 2013 5:53 PM
