After watching the whole movie, I realized that lucy is her mother because she said thanks mom after lucy gave the tea. Also,she said to her she will be a terrible mom. The ending of the movie seems like she wanted her family killed by the cult to show her loyalty,i guess. She intentionally called the number to be traced by them.
