Dude, just because you're disappointed that it wasn't a sequel doesn't mean it was a bad direction to go in. Honestly, the ending to the first one was pretty much perfect. It left you to imagine what happened after that on your own, and honestly, there was no point in continuing it. This, on the other hand, was genius.
