But I liked the dad-son relationship - the liberal tutor is very realistic on the other hand. There are lots of these types in Germany - The girl doesn’t see him a “threat” since he’s so young. She wants to rebel and try out new things. - The incident at the talent show was pretty unrealistic. These people at then youth center would never antagonize him like that. He could rap anything he wanted, they wouldn’t understand most of it anyway German youth/consumer culture is obsessed about being on the cutting edge of every new trend around the world. Besides the Goth/Scene/Manga people, the Hipsters/Nerds and the Rockers/Punks, Hip Hop people comprise one of the biggest groups in German youth culture. Of course it’s different than in the US, so they might be impressed to get a more authentic representative. Morris would have likely found a home with a bunch of other hip hop kids, many of whom have non-German roots. He could go several specialized hip-hop stores in Heidelberg where he would find all the latest and hottest clothes and accessories."
