As someone who supports the second amendment, opposes an assault weapons ban(aswell as a handgun ban), and gets agitated over the fact that the UK constantly pressures America on the subject of guns(mainly because the UK has it's own problems that it won't fix such as excessive mass surveillance, a higher per capita assault rate, arrests on social media for making controversial remarks), I've been told that this documentary is mainly about the local reactions to the Dunblane massacre and how the community coped with the atrocity more than anything with only the last few minutes about the gun debate. Considering that it focuses on the former I guess I overacted when I first saw the trailer since an outright ban on guns as remarked in the trailer comes as off putting. Just don't look at the like to dislike ratio and think that a handgun ban like the one in the UK is supported by the vast majority of Americans. The like to dislike ration on pro or anti gun videos varies and has very little rise or fall pattern. For example the speech Emma made(which this essay is about was followed up by a CNN video interview with her and David Hogg. Most national/global news is stage managed or invented. Most local news is real, but can be taken over by local and national drills from time to time. The MSM has become 100% tabloid news. Imagine that they work together, are dominated by intelligence operatives from around the world, are given scripts by NGO's and billionaires, and then you are starting to get the picture. HSEEP training teaches everyone how to run a professional drill suitable for broadcast as real news. HSEEP, when run often, will train the police how to protect crime scenes, guide the media how to best present crime scenes, and advise the local authorities how to quietly suppress official investigations. All these skills are required to successfully execute a HSEEP drill. If the drill cannot convince the public then it was an unsuccessful production. Of course there will be mistakes. That's why you run the drills. The first run is bound to be sloppy. There will be plot holes. There will be unauthorized observers. There will be bloopers, blunders and contradicting evidence. But there is nothing that can't be explained away to an obliging and cooperative public. The cranks can be ignored or threatened as the case may be. The whole point of HSEEP is that each drill is unique, using local scenery, local authorities, local personalities and their relatives. The most successful HSEEP communities will have drills on a weekly basis, and larger cities will be able to run HSEEP drills routinely on a daily basis. HSEEP funding will ensure that no HSEEP community has to suffer to fulfill their HSEEP duties. Federal contacts for siting larger government installations now require that HSEEP protocol be implemented in the surrounding towns and cities. Any state interested in attracting federal investment will have to prove their competence with HSEEP protocol. Run HSEEP often and attract federal funding for parks, infrastructure improvements, whatever your community needs. HSEEP communities capable of coordinating interlocking drills are a longterm Homeland Security goal. Every community eventually will be forced to run drills, as state and federal funding will be contingent upon active participation with HSEEP methodologies. The Dunblane shooting seems to have a different motive than other shootings. I are yet to read about a single parent or child to come forward to directly accuse Hamilton of even a minor sexual offence. So it seems that it was because of the community falsely accusing him of being a pedophile and pervert that triggered the shooting. And with the current pedophile witch hunt it may be just a matter of time before a wrongly accused man don't wish to live any longer and hits out like Hamilton. I'm an icelander, that is I'm born and raised in Iceland. Population 330.000, registered guns between 75 and 80.000, unregisterd guns I'd guess about half that number. Number of murders by a firearm in all Icelands history fewer than 5. Now do tell me one thing. Is it the guns that kill people or the mental state of the population towards firearms? If you go down this road banning everything that could possibly kill people the list would be longer than my arm. There will always be people who love being taken care of by some nanny state and they tell themselves that makes them "safe". One glaring fault in this kind of thinking is that the criminals are called lawbreakers because they do not obey the law. So these people will stand defensless against anyone who breakes the law and carries a firearm. The country Switzerland smack in the middle of Europe has mandatory laws that demands every citizen to have an army type of firearm (it is provided) and be trained in it's use. The reason behind this thinking is that every citizen in case of invasion by an foreign army is automaticly part of an armed militia and his duty is to defend the homeland. What I've learned is that no one care about the kids as long as we take the guns away and thats stupid. There are real problems and guns are only a tenth the problem, mental health reform needs to happen in America before take peoples guns. In America someone can go to a hospital say there not well and want to do harm to them and others an just leave because the doctor thinks there ok or get released in 72 hours do to over crowding or bad doctors or both.
