For help with Draco, he must become very close friends with his daughter, Tracy, and heads off to hunt down Ernst Stavro Blofeld one more time. This takes him to Switzerland, where he must pose as Sir Hilary Bray to find out the secret plan of Blofeld. The facility is covered with Blofeld's guards as well as his hench-woman, Irma Bunt. What has Blofeld got in mind this time? Can Bond keep up this act for much longer? Are ANY Bond girls safe?

I believe OHMSS is the best James Bond movie so far. - @Thursday, June 14, 2018 1:06 PM

The film only gets better with age! - @Monday, March 19, 2018 2:49 AM

By far my least favorite Bond film. Lazenby is no Connery and he does pretty lousy imitation of Sean. Action scenes look silly, even by 60s standards. And the ending is something so-not the Bond. Oh, and Savalas is vastly inferior Blofeld to Pleasance. - @Friday, February 2, 2018 10:18 PM

Best ending ever for a James Bond movie in this film... - @Saturday, January 6, 2018 11:03 PM

I always liked this film. It had a mixed reception and because the big action set pieces are in the second half of the film, when first shown on American television it was re-edited to start off in a big action scene and then flashback to the first half of the film until it caught up to the chase scene. - @Friday, October 6, 2017 4:27 AM

I have always been a Bond geek, and to me this is the best of the bunch!!! - @Thursday, September 21, 2017 3:55 AM

OHMSS is my very favorite Bond movie.I saw it in 1969 when I was 18 and I loved it then.Every viewing increases my apprication of it and I never tire of it .Lazenby and Dalton were the best Bond actors who played Bond as he is in Fleming`s books. If Craig`s Bond got rid of the rough edges,he also would be one of the best Bonds as he is in the books.. - @Monday, April 24, 2017 12:08 AM

The assault on Piz Gloria is arguably the best action sequence in the series' history. - @Wednesday, December 7, 2016 8:41 PM

If only Connery had made this his last 'official' Bond instead of Diamonds Are Forever... - @Thursday, October 13, 2016 2:22 AM

Definitely in my top 3 Bond films with Casino Royale and Skyfall, Lazenby was a good Bond (along with Craig the best Bond in Fight scenes) and this film had some of the best action and definitely the best ending, along with John Barry's best Bond score and Diana Rigg one of the best Bond Girls. It's Christopher Nolan's favourite Bond film. A Bond film that ages like a fine wine. - @Friday, July 8, 2016 1:11 AM

good review.. its my alltime favorite bond film and perhaps my favorite film in general. love just every scene of it and this is also the very best score by john barry. i visited piz gloria last year and i will go this year again, i get goosebumps everytime. a great feeling when you finally see the top of if on your trip to the mountain top.. - @Thursday, May 5, 2016 3:04 PM

I really like this film. One of my favourite Bonds with wonderful final scene. One thing that has always bugged me though, it the really noticeable speeding up of certain action scenes. Looks a bit Keystone Cops in places. - @Saturday, January 9, 2016 4:35 PM

Diana Right was the hottest Bond girl and that's tough compitition. - @Friday, August 7, 2015 4:03 PM

OHMSS seems to be my favourite Bond film as well ( not because we share the same last name....and George is Australian!!) I thought George was good and yes, a hard act to follow after Sean. I saw this the day it opened in Sydney's long gone Regent Theatre. It even had an Intermission! As the documentary says on the Blueray  release, George could have gone on to do 7 or 8 Bonds according to some of the well placed crew. Pity, we'll never know. But it's actually pleasing to see all those early mono sound Bond films, now redone in 4K and 5.1 DTS on Blueray, especially OHMSS with it's, probably the best, music score thundering out with the rest of the action. - @Sunday, May 4, 2014 12:59 AM

This is one of all time favorite Bond films along with From Russia with Love, Thunderball, Live and Let Die and the recent Skyfall.  - @Tuesday, November 26, 2013 8:31 PM

Great review. I watched it in Kuala Lumpur in 1969. I was just 18 years old. Lazenby wasn't that bad and Diana Rigg was terrific. Must make a trip to Piz Gloria for sentimental reasons! - @Saturday, October 5, 2013 2:47 PM

Definitely not my favorite Bond, but a solid entry nevertheless, and Lazenby was a decent lead. He was no Connery or Moore, but he was an exceptionally handsome, powerfully built 6' 4" actor that could pull off one-liners with the right timing and humor. It does have my overall favorite Bond theme, too. But "terrific love story"?! Yeah, not so much. - @Monday, July 15, 2013 10:16 PM

One of my favorites as well. Last year, I went Waaayyyyyyyyy out of my way to visit Piz Gloria in the Swiss Alps - the mountain top location of Telly Salvalas character - to discover a hidden James Bond paradise supporting this film with 007 logos & images plastered everywhere. - @Saturday, July 13, 2013 12:34 AM

By FAR the best Bond film -- action scenes shot and cut with real visceral intensity. The mise en scene too - notice Hunt's use of the colour orange and blue in the film - the seamless blocking of the dialogue scenes, often framed in one take - this is a great filmmaker at work. He didn;t make enough films. No other Bond director has a vision like Peter Hunt. - @Thursday, July 11, 2013 6:29 PM

While I respect his opinion, I just cannot like this movie. I have tried, but it comes across as a parody at certain points of the movie. - @Tuesday, July 9, 2013 9:05 PM
