Sheesh. I think her comment is perfectly valid. Very few people in UK know who Rainn Wilson is. She's not saying that he's a nobody, that US TV is bigger or better. She's stating that James Cordon is not a household name in North America. I'm from UK but now living in Canada and it's tiresome to hear the same crap all the time on UK/US comedy. I'm from the US and have definitely known about James Corden for a while and I did see Gavin and Stacey. And he is at least a little famous over here because he was in a play I think called Two Governors which was a UK National Theatre play but was on Broadway in NY for a while and his name was used pretty heavily in the advertising.
