I was pleasantly surprised with the movie; I watched it earlier today. A couple of things to point out, I thought he was Indian from the picture alone (I don't remember seeing the trailer prior to today), and I didn't know the gender role was reversed. I haven't watched the original movie. But this one is quite good. You can feel the family atmosphere throughout. The humor is a part of the movie, but the movie doesn't rely on the humor. In fact, the humor was just part of the story telling. It's the connection and development between the characters that make it an enjoyable movie. The only thing I can said about most of the comments is, that American people think just white people can be rich, and not just Mexico all Latin America people is poor, also believe that a white girl can't fall in love with a Hispanic guy.
