One year after Mike Lawford's young son disappeared during a Halloween carnival, he is haunted by ghostly images and terrifying messages he can't explain. Just finished watching this movie about 5 minutes ago. I'm actually surprised at how much I liked it. It has cliche stuff but I liked the story and it was interesting. The movie can be creepy, but not enough. Half of the movie it's just him talking and minor investigation just like any other. SPOILER ALERT!!! - - - - - - - - - - - - - The moment you start the movie you can predict how it will go (Seriously, just try it out and it will be like you are narrating the whole thing) From the moment he leaves with his son to the carnival, to the part him and his wife separate, he sees apparitions, people who try to help die, and hard to explain resolutions they just pulled out of a hat. You would feel like you have seen the movie before, but it's just all the cliche in one film. It's descent in the little amount of graphics, though not on make up for the main antagonist. okay i love nic cage, he is a brilliant and believable actor, more of a comedian than anything else but can play any part, despite this he has been given some terrible leads in some serious bad movies, the film looks good, i will give it a go, but after ghost rider i thought that cage was on a downwards spiral to nowhere but he still gets given these roles so good luck to the man!!!! i actually liked him in every film bar ghost rider!!!!!! it will take some beating in con air where he played his best ever part for me, and the wicker man i was in tears by his madness ahahahaha - @Monday, November 9, 2015 11:36 AM
