You know, honestly, I'm surprised at how much hate this movie gets. I was never a huge fan of Postman Pat when I was young. I enjoyed it, I watched a few old episodes here and there... But honestly, I thought this movie was more entertaining than it had any right to be. As an American that never grew up with Postman Pat, I can say this doesn't work. The Claymation and subdued tone made it feel quaint. This movie just feels like someone saying "look at all this old stuff, let's make it shiny and overblown to show that it's reached the modern age!"
