After her parents divorced, Sumitomo Shima lived with her mother. She felt uncomfortable living with her stepfather and she was unable to hang out with people at her high school. Shima decides to move to Hokkaido where her father lives. At her new high school in Hokkaido, she meets classmate Tatebayashi Gen and Sakurai Wao. They are the two most popular boys at her school. A principle of her school is that"Gen and Wao are for everyone." If anyone breaks the rule, that person will be ostracized. Sumitomo Shima gets closer to Gen and Wao.

Just finished watching!! Just wanted to share some thoughts on the film. :D *SPOILERS* ? I've been waiting for this film since it came out in Japan. Principal is my favorite manga! Which is why, although the film was horridly lacking - poorly cut, acting was subpar (actually they were all good, it's just that the script they were working with made so many jumps), the plot/story line/progression had a number of holes someone who didn't read the manga would find odd, STILL, I didn't mind one bit! Taken picture by picture, it's a perfect rendition of what the characters look like and where they came from. If you loved the manga, you should watch! If you didn't, you can read the manga after watching. :) Another thing is the ending, I wanted to see the film to know the ending of the manga as the final chapter has yet to be released in English online. Sadly, I don't think, judging from the RAWs, that the ending of the film is the same with that of the manga. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to keep waiting. :) Cliche movie ending.
