One of the dangerous things about discovering your calling later in life, is that the life you built before will almost get completely washed away, unless you rewrite the story, including the love ones you want to bring w/ you. I had to rewrite my story, adding my children in, giving them space to exist where I am now, not where I was before. Some people will never get that truth. Some people are in love w/ someone who isnt themselves. People have kids in the wrong story plot, & that is how children can become adandoned down the road because the individual wasnt genuine in the beginning. The current vogue amongst some DPs for 'naturalistic' gloomy lighting is becoming laughable with most of the films and TV series looking anything but 'natural'. Just saw this movie yesterday. It looked like it was going to be good, but it was boring. Way too slow, terrible ending, not a single likable character except possibly one son. Plus it drove me nuts that in virtually every scene on Ash Wednesday, the cross on her forehead was completely different. Couldn't they at least have TRIED to make them look similar?
