Had that happened? It was said that the pilot took off with drugs and alcohol in his system, also that when they put her baggage on board that it weighed the plane down cause it was not put on properly. The plane also was to small for as many as the 9 passenger that were on it. Out of the 9 people on the plane only 1 person survived that was in the back. But with all the burns he died 30 minutes later as he was being rushed to the hospital. Aaliyah was towards the front of the plane, and when the plane crashed it exploded which caused a fracture in her head. You guys are too kind to the movie, its pretty bad. Stuart Townsend sounds less like Lestat and more like an actor doing a bad Bela Lugosi impression. The soundtrack is so out of place since Goth music does not sound like that and the lestat singing like Korn scenes were laughable at best. You can't look me in the face and tell me you thought that silly digital effect they use for flying wasn't lame. Well I think the movie is absolutely amazing! The music, the actors who played are very persuasive and Stuart nailed it! ♥ I completely agree that the movie has NOTHING to do with the book which is very bad to those who had already read the book and waited to see the same story in cinemas but if you hadn't read it you wouldn't mind! I saw the film way before I read the book and I fell in love with the character of Lestat from the first 10 minutes of the film. As for the choice of the actors I believe again that they made the right choice! So I just finished reading Anne Rice's works and I have to say they were fantastic but then when I went back to the films well: Interview with a Vampire I think is a worthy adaptation but this? I like it for guilty pleasures but boy it can not compare with the beauty & intricacy of the novel! They should really remake it & what if someone like Del Toro who made Pan's Labrynthe did it?
