*An Atheistic Version* I'd like to see a counterculturally antitheist/atheist mirror to this where Scientism becomes so fanatical and self-importantly "enlightened" to the point where a religiously technocratic cabal of leading scientists, social engineers, philosophers, and other upperclass intellectuals conspired to "disappear" Christian apologists, Muslim immigrants, Jewish Rabbis, and countless people from every faith to "stem overpopulation, reduce resource consumption, and eliminate minds prone to 'magical thinking' and low IQ from the gene pool for the sake of the greater good." These prisoners would experimented upon for the secret advancement of pharmacological, surgical, psychological, and genetic understanding with results sold to major corporations and governments who stand to make more by circumnavigating animal testing to get products from drugs to radiological weapons onto the market or into the arsenal faster and with greater certainty than the fauna trials would allow. The profits from these sales would then go to endeavours to generate even more funding for scientific projects and universities the world over via pathogenic fabrication designed to be introduced in to population-dense third world and sometimes first world nations where these elites, their investments in medical and lab industry stock secured, would make BILLIONS in the sales of everything from bandages to vaccinations not to mention, in their minds, "prolong the reign of human kind in the face of its protean wildfire multiplication." Other funds would go into manipulating medication and medical services administered to the public through both private but, more particularly, public clinics with the goal of subtly sterilizing or impairing fertility in undesirable groups deemed "unfit" for Man's ultimate progress like families with predispositions for congenital disease and psychiatric abnormalities. Our protagonists would be found in the tortured test subjects kidnapped from the aforementioned demographics with a diverse selection of races and religions among the huddled survivors of lethal empiricism that have watched so many forgotten masses fed through laboratories like a meat grinder comparable to the slaughter in the SS Concentration Camps. Among them however, would be a number of secular humanists (people like Jonathan Haidt) and inquisitive agnostics (like Jordan Peterson who argue for the positive application of faith). These intelligent academics and public speakers--quietly detained (officially dead or missing to the general public) and now rendered guinea pigs for opposing an antitheist narrative useful to the Scientismists in eroding the popular power of a once religious electorate--join forces with those they once considered superstitious and stupid or otherwise confused in finding hope and common ground against the representative slice of intelligentsia perverting science, doctoring findings, installing philosophical dogma causing unintended and ignored explorative stagnation, and becoming the fanatical and functionally religious cult they so adamantly hate. It would explore the utility of faith in dire circumstance, provide a fair and equally sided critique for reason as a singular way of knowing, and highlight the the triumph of human connection regardless of existential differences against intellectual arrogance, moral superiority, and intolerant elitism found in a "pro-science" and certainly anti-religious movement that threatens the balance of faith and reason and the love and cooperation that should prevail between those espousing them as God in their respective hierarchies of value yet nevertheless are all human with hopes for freedom and love of fellow men. That would be GOD DAMN COOL. - @Sunday, November 4, 2018 8:48 AM

The really disturbing thing is that there are groups just like this in the Good 'Ol US of A. Sure, Westboro Baptist never tortured and killed innocent people, but this is exactly the kind of bullshit hate mongering backwards drivel they spew, and I have not a doubt in my mind that his family would have murdered people if he said God told him it had to be done. - @Wednesday, August 8, 2018 2:52 AM

what an amateurish crap..... wasted 15 minutes of my times on this garbage. First, dialogue is poor. Just like using "fuck" every second word would make dialogue crispy -- no it doesn't cover complete lack of talent of the author. Second, maybe Smith thinks some little details are not noticable..... 7:40 they hit the car on the side of the road.... The car is in parallel position to the road, than they hit it, it barely, scratch the side, car moves maybe two inches, actually shakes a bit and that's it. Now look at 7:48 - the car is at the angle to the road, totally out of the road. Two different shots. Botched. Ed Wood's style. Only a bit more subtle. The woman is old and wrinkled - sorry, but teenagers would have to be blind to go for it. Maybe one of them could be into milfs, but three of them? Bullshit. Than the whole kidnapping and people with their children sitting in the church and terrorizing those stupid boys with dictionaries consisting of 3 words.... Nonsense. Children talk and loose lips sink ships. They could cover it for a couple of hours, maybe days before all of them would end up locked up. Give me a break. Tarantino must have been under the influence to say he loved it. Or his brain degenerated since he's done his last good movie - @Friday, July 21, 2017 5:22 PM

Typical leftist/liberal political propaganda-movie. The stupid left have, of some very strange reasons, taken the REAL evil islam to their hearts but declared war on christianity. That's how it is in many countries in Europe and America nowadays. Movies like this is just a contribution to that war on christians from a politically correct left-wing moviemaker. Violent christian fundamentalists like this is a non existing problem compared to a real existing problem, radical islam. That fact make this movie totally irrelevant. To be relevant and honest I think Kevin Smith should make movies instead about existing problems, i e a movie about the biggest threat to the free world; ISLAM - @Tuesday, May 5, 2015 5:52 AM
